Siara Designs wants to ensure the job is done right the first time, so everything we do is done strategically. We never proceed with any work before discussing it with our clients. The following is a breakdown of the process that Siara Designs uses for shrub and tree trimming and transplanting.
Consultation
Our team will come out to your property for a 30-minute to 1-hour evaluation of your property. We will assess the job you would like done, discuss any issues we may notice, and give ideas about what plant and material options are available for your project. We will take photos and measurements of the area being discussed.
Estimate
We will take the information gathered from our consultation and draft a written estimate. Within a few days of visiting your property, you will be provided with the estimate. We want our clients to fully understand our calculations and recommend they call with any questions.
Contract
After reviewing the estimate, Siara Design and the client will sign the service agreement. Our team will discuss any plant material and hardscape options that may be available for the project. After reviewing the choices, we welcome any feedback or requests from the client.
Design Development
Based on the feedback provided, our team will refine the materials to be used as well as the client’s plant selection, confirming their final choices. Our team will draw up the design using this information. The client receives the design for review and final approval so we can begin work.
Irrigation Audit
Before our team does any planting or building, we audit your irrigation system. Our team will evaluate the current irrigation system on the property, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper water coverage for your lawn and plants.
Installation
Our team wants to start with a clean slate, so we begin by removing debris and excess material. After clean-up is completed, we can start the installation of hardscapes (i.e., pavers, stones, edging, etc.). Next, we plant and finish by installing landscape lighting (if applicable).
Post-Installation
Our team will do a thorough site walk-through with the client to explain the care of transplanted shrubs and trees, as well as any new plants placed on the property. After the review, we email a Comprehensive Plant Care Guide that is customized to the client’s needs. Our team will check in from time to time to ensure everything is going well and remind our clients that we are always available for questions that come up down the road.
